The International Air Days of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic (IMAD 2026) took place on 5 and 6 September 2026 at Piešťany Airport, marking the event’s first appearance in the city. Organised by the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic and the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, they were held in conjunction with Armed Forces Day celebrations and were free of charge for the public.

As autonomous AI drones bypass GPS/RF signals and fiber-optic drones resist radio jamming, traditional Electronic Warfare (EW) might not suffice. When these unjammable threats breach soft-kill defenses, kinetic interceptor drones serve as the ultimate last resort – physically destroying the target when electronic jamming is no longer an option.

I2 DEFENDER can be combined with NEMESIS and ARES SHIELD – it can also serve as an accessory of the system.

The Automatic Cannon 2A7M (model KA-ZU-AR-23) is a 23 mm gas-operated automatic cannon chambered in 23 x 152 mm caliber. This weapon system delivers a muzzle velocity of 950-1000 m/s with a rate of fire of 850-1085 rounds per minute. With a barrel assembly length of 2,060 mm, overall length of 2,620 mm, and weight of 85 kg, the 2A7M is designed for anti-aircraft applications and can be mounted on self-propelled anti-aircraft gun systems.

The Heavy Machine Gun KAMG M-19, type NSV, is chambered in 12,7 x 108 mm caliber with optional 12,7 x 99 mm.
